Chamberlain Scholarship for the Annual International Conference

This scholarship will provide funds to cover the cost of registration and travel expenses to attend the Annual AFP International Conference. It is awarded based on past service to the chapter and future leadership potential.         

This scholarship is collaborative effort between the chapter and AFP International.

Restrictions:

• The scholarship is for candidates employed as a fundraising professional or, if the candidate is an executive director, a substantial amount of time must be devoted to fundraising.
• The candidate cannot have previously attended an AFP International Conference on Fundraising or NSFRE International Conference.

Application Requirements:

• A completed Scholarship Application.

Recipient Requirements:

• Attend the conference from April 26 - 28, 2026 in San Diego, California
• We ask that the winner please agree to submit a one-page conference recap post-event (within 30 days) and/or briefly speak at a luncheon post-conference and share their experience.

Schedule:

• Applications must be submitted by October 17, 2025

Availability:

There is one (1) scholarship available that will cover the recipient's cost of registration. Our chapter will also provide up to a $1,500 stipend to cover travel and hotel expenses. Receipts must be submitted for reimbursement. Expenses in addition to that or beyond that amount are the responsibility of the winner or their organization.
