EVERY MEMBER CAMPAIGN
Each year, AFP chapters conduct the Every Member Campaign. This is a special campaign to raise funds for the AFP Foundation. The purpose of the Foundation is to increase society’s awareness of philanthropy and the fundraising process through education and outreach programs, the AFP Fundraising Resource Center, chapter programming, and scholarship awards. All members are asked to donate, and all chapters are asked to set a fundraising goal. Chapters which exceed their goal receive a grant from the AFP Foundation in the amount of 25% of the total dollars raised. Our chapter goal for the Every Member Campaign is $4,500. We can easily achieve this goal if each of our members will make the important decision to personally invest in the future of our profession through the AFP Foundation. Toward that end, each chapter member will be personally contacted about giving to the EMC this year. AFP International has engaged Advantage Consulting to conduct a phone campaign in our area. In the next few months, a representative from the company will call you and ask you about considering a pledge. We urge you to consider giving an amount that you feel is reasonable for you. You also can make a gift online at www.afpnet.org (be sure to login as a member, and specify your gift as an EMC gift for the Central Florida Chapter.
